About

You have questions. It’s natural to want to learn more about someone before you place your trust in them. Let me share with you a little about what to expect from me. The first thing a lot of people notice about me is that I often have a smile on my face. I have developed a deep sense of peace and joy in my own life, using the same methods I share with my clients. I firmly believe in practicing what I offer. The second thing that many of the people I work with realize is that I am deeply committed to this work, and being with them through their pain with compassion and understanding. Helping you and others who are struggling to find their path to strength and joy in life is an expression of my own values and path. Those two qualities come together as we stay with and honor your struggle, while also going underneath it to find strengths and bright spots in your life that the pain was hiding. I love working with teenagers and their families. It is a time that is filled with possibilities. Helping bring families closer while also empowering teenagers and their parents in the process is a very rewarding experience for me.

About Me

My studies led me to achieve licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Montana and earn highest honors with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Working with struggling teens began in 2008. I have had additional training to specifically help people through traumatic events and crisis situations, and to support parents in how to effectively work with their children. My love of learning has led me to study philosophy, different spiritual traditions, and psychology, as part of my ongoing effort to deepen my own understanding of what helps people thrive in life. Plus, I love games of all sorts and the fun times with friends and family that comes with them! Now that you’ve learned a little more about me, I would love to learn more about you, and how I can help. If you are ready, call me today.
